I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Deel (Italy) in May 2025
Interview
I was first contacted via LinkedIn by a recruiter asking if I was interested in the position. Then I got passed on the HR managing this position. There were 3 interviews: 1) with the customer onboarding team, for which I had to prepare two home tasks (email scenario and escalation scenario) - 45 mins. 2) with a Senior Director - 15mins, 3) Elevate team to see if our values were aligned. For this last interview I was given in advance some questions to prepare, but during the interview different questions were asked. I was a little dissappointed by this, but nothing that can't be handled in a standard interview process. Overall, it took around a month to complete the full process, and it was time-consuming as it required a lot of preparation for each interview.

Question 1
A time when you went an extra mile for someone else, and how do you prioritize speed without sacrificing quality?.
First there is a recruiter screen with a talent specialist. Then the next round (if you move forward) is with the Manager of Customer Onboarding, who is the person you will be reporting to if you get the job. If they reject you they share a piece of constructive feedback which is helpful.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Deel (Dubai) in Jan 2026
Interview
Process was thorough and seamless. The TA was super informative and personable throughout the process. Each interview was on time and I was given brief context before each interview as to what it might include. All interviewers were also honest about the culture and the dynamic environment that I can expect at Deel.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Deel (Madrid) in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process at Deel was one of the most thoughtful and well-structured experiences I’ve had. It consisted of several rounds, including conversations with HR, the hiring manager, a director interview, a case study presentation and a cultural fit round. Each step was clear and purposeful, and I was given plenty of space to showcase both my experience and personality. Antal, the recruiter, was incredibly professional and communicative—he kept me informed every step of the way, and genuinely made me feel supported throughout the entire journey. The process gave me real insight into the company’s values and culture, and by the time the offer came, I felt truly confident about the team I was joining.
