30min phone interview to talk about my experiences but they talked about what the day-to-day task looked for the role but mentioned responsibilities that weren’t specified on LinkedIn job posting. It was inconsistent with what was on their own careers page.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Decision Quest (New York, NY) in Jan 2013
Interview
Three rounds of interviews with behavioral/technical questions and a skills test. First was a phone screening with HR. Second was an in-person interview with a consultant, associate, and analyst. Last interview was in-person with a senior partner/director.

Question 1
We all make mistakes we wish we could take back. Tell me about a time you wish you’d handled a situation differently with a colleague.

Interview
Was contacted by email and phone to schedule an in-person interview. Flew to the city for the interview process which was conducted by 2 team members. Basic interview questions pertaining to my skill set and asking me to elaborate on my background. No trick questions. Highlighted my willingness to travel just for the interview and thanked me for my time. Extremely friendly office atmosphere. However they had been conducting interviews all day so they mentioned not knowing if they had asked me the same question twice or not. I hadn't even gotten to the airport yet when I was contacted by email to schedule a follow up phone interview. A few days later spoke with office leadership on the phone and developed a strong rapport. Did not resemble an interview, just and interesting conversation. Due to the start date of the position I was unable to move forward with the process. Was later offered similar position at a different office location and turned it down as the job was no longer in line with my professional aspirations.
