Interview
Beware: you may get ghosted after completing a case study!!! It is unadvisable to invest time and effort interviewing for this company Applied for an internship that I was well qualified for. Had an initial interview that went well, and was sent an assignment for a further case study interview. The assignment demanded substantial time on my end which I committed to completing it. Presented it during a further interview. Following this… radio silence. Simply put, it is not acceptable. After demanding so much of a candidates valuable time, it is improper to not provide an outcome to capable and competent candidates. It demonstrates a lack of respect for the candidates time and work. I have another internship lined up with a different company and am confident I will be a strong asset to that company. I, unfortunately, do not see myself applying for any further roles at Decathlon SG throughout the rest of my career, and this is indeed a loss for Decathlon as I am confident that I have skills and capabilities that are in demand. Moral of the story? Candidates, and their time, should be treated with respect. If you are going to ask them to do a case study with a tight deadline, be prepared to deliver an outcome within a quick timeframe as well.

Interview
5 rounds: Screening - online video of answering 3 questions, case study, technical interview, final round. Was way too long for just an internship position. Was also not very transparent even though I made it to the final round.
