I was asked to come in for an in-person interview. First off, the showroom and offices can't be reached from their street address, you have to enter on another street, which no one bothered to tell me. My interview was with one of the owners and a senior manager. I have never been through such a hostile and bizarre interview. Both interviewers refused to answer any of my questions. When they told me they're planning on moving to a new location and I asked where, I was told I didn't need to know that. When I asked how their CRM was set up, I was told they don't have a CRM. Every question I asked was responded to with a non-answer. The owner also made a point of trashing their customers, saying that his team doesn't make mistakes, the A&D professionals who are the clients don't understand what they're doing so everything that goes wrong is their fault. When I asked the interviewers if they had any questions for me, the owner said no, it was up to me to prove myself with the quality of questions I asked them...which again, they wouldn't answer. I knew the company had a reputation for being supercilious and unaccountable when they screwed up orders, but I had no idea that they were downright nasty to anyone who dares enter their threshold. If I'm asked to move forward in the application process, I'm going to decline.
