Davies Allen interview questions

It was great and they had me in for an interview quick. I followed up a week later and was told I was a finalist but that the CEO was out traveling and they would get back to me. Then I followed up another 8 days later and nothing. They have since ghosted me. I am unsure how I was a finalist if they did not plan to interview me again.
