I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at David's Bridal in Oct 2012
Interview
Was contacted by a very good recruiter who told me everything I wanted to hear. Was scheduled for a face to face interview with the District Manager and Store Manager. After that was scheduled a phone interview with the Regional Vice President. Was later contacted by the Store Manager with an offer. The whole process took 2-3 weeks.

They are now using People's Answers (personality test) to interview candidates. However when I applied and was hired they were using behavioral interview questions. Asking specifics on metrics I had previously been in charge of at past jobs. Such as Loss Prevention and Shrink results and profits and losses in context of business.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at David's Bridal (New York, NY) in Mar 2022
Interview
it was and interesting process and i think it can be stressful if your fully prepared for things like these, but over all i was perfectly fine and surprisingly i didn't sweat a lot maybe because i didn't have to many difficulties during the questioning.

They lead you to believe you are being interviewed for an open position. You are actually being put on a "bench" to wait until a position opens up due to high turnover

Question 1
Why do you think you can handle the bridal business?
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at David's Bridal
Interview
online application and then called by the DSM. One on one interview with the DSM went well. He was very professional and thorough. He emailed and even texted me constantly throughout the process to keep me updated.
Next interview over the phone with a recruiter, which I thought was an odd second step. She was very funny and also asked good questions.
Third interview over the phone with regional manager. She was more direct and the interview was more focused on feeling me out. Shorter than the other ones.
The regional wanted me to phone interview a current SM in the company so I could feel out the position to make sure it would be a good fit.
Overall the process was shockingly and perhaps unnecessarily extended. 4 different kinds of interviews to be an Assistant Manager. Regardless, everyone was great and very pleasant and the entire process took less than a week. I ultimately decided on a different job based on my location but this was a positive experience overall.
