Unfortunately, this was one of the most unprofessional interview experiences I have had.
The interview started almost 10 minutes late. While people involved in the interview process were initially polite and apologetic, the professionalism quickly declined after that point.
Company representative had invited me to interview despite being fully aware from both my CV and a prior phone conversation that I did not hold certain qualifications listed in the job description. I even asked him directly whether those qualifications were essential for the role, and he assured me they were not. Yet during the interview, most of the questions centered on those same qualifications. This person's conduct during the interview was also inappropriate — he frequently displayed visible frustration, shaking his head and making dismissive expressions while his colleague continued to ask about skills he had already confirmed (before the interview )were not required.
The woman involved in the hiring process for this role also appeared disengaged and distracted. Her audio quality was poor, which made it difficult to understand her questions. When I asked for clarification, she reacted with visible annoyance instead of just repeating the question.
Overall, the process felt disorganized, disrespectful, and discouraging. It did not reflect the level of professionalism I would expect from a global organization.
