      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Datatonic in Feb 2024

      Interview

Great experience. A bit long but very reasonable. There were 4 interview stages overall, a week between each two, and I was contacted regarding the feedback of the interview and to schedule the next, one day after each interview, except the last one which took about one week to get back to me with the final decision. I was first reached by the HR for a 30 minutes interview (not technical, just getting to know one another). The second was a 30 minutes interview with a principal ML engineer talking about my experiences related to the position (nothing practical). The third was a 1-hour case study interview with a data & ML team lead and a senior ML engineer in which they gave me a real MLOps problem and I was asked to design pipeline and explain my flow of thoughts on a whiteboard. The last interview was with 3 chapter heads to assess my fit within the organization and ask about my ambitions and interest in Datatonic (nothing technical). I really liked everyone I met and felt very comfortable throughout the process.
