I interviewed recently for datadog (paris location). I made it to 3 steps - 1. with recruiter
2. Hackerrank test
3. Interview with hiring manager
The first interview had general questions to know more about you and your interest in the role.
Hackerrank test had 4 questions which included - sql, docker installation, datadog agent installation in VM and few other tasks related to it (please go through the documentation), and the last one was a bash coding question. After I cleared the test I met the hiring manager.
This was the stage when I got rejected. Hiring manager had only 30 mins and I felt the time wasn't enough for the whole interview. The person did not show a lot of interest from the start and jumped straight to the regular questions. There was lack of interest from the HM to actually hire anyone and seemed busy with some other work.
