Was recommended by a friend who works in another department. Went through 6-7 rounds, depending on how you want to divide it. Phonecall with recruiter, then a zoom with team manager, then an on-site with team manager, then a zoom with a peer (which ended up being a manager from another office location), then a take home assignment, then an on-site interview with the division head immediately followed by a team lunch. There was also a prep call with the recruiter sprinkled in there somewhere. Then finally after about 6 weeks, a call from the recruiter to tell me that it was basically down to me and another candidate, and they went with the other candidate. However, they did mention that there were plans to expand the team fairly soon, and they would keep my info on file, and to reach out again when I saw the listing back up and that they would put me through an expedited interview process. I added the manager, director, and both the recruiters on LinkedIn, and 2 months later the listing was back up. I commented on the manager's LinkedIn post announcing the position availability, applied on the website, and emailed both the recruiters. The level 1 recruiter told me she wasn't working on the position this time and to apply on the website. The manager and 2nd level recruiter never responded to me. Another month later, I've just received a canned rejection email.
