Applied online and I received a call from the recruiter who was in their HR team, unfortunately I wasn't available to take the call and they left a message on my voicemail to call them back regarding the job. I assumed they wanted to screen me over the phone etc. Called them back the next day and the person who answered said they couldn't talk right away and that they would call me back. I waited the entire day, no call. So I attempted to call them back twice leaving voicemails. I also texted them to ask when would be a good time to call, but no response. So I was ghosted. I can understand if they didn't contact me because I wasn't successful in my application. But the fact they called me, left a message to call them back must have meant they made a decision to proceed with my application. So I found it extremely unprofessional they chose to ghost me when they were the ones calling me in the first place. Maybe they changed their mind but the way they went about this was very amateurish and extremely unprofessional especially for a senior management role.
