I interviewed at Dart Aerospace (Portsmouth, South East England, England)
Interview
Everyone was lovely and the took the time to allow me to do a tour and figure out if the role was the right next step for me.
I felt supported through the whole process
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dart Aerospace (Montreal, QC)
Interview
It was smooth. There were 2 levels. First one was with the hiring manager and then with two other people. Friendly colleagues - they are interested in what you bring to the table. So go all out and explain what you have done in your prior companies.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Dart Aerospace (Portland, OR) in May 2021
Interview
Contacted by third-party head hunter. Hiring Manager from Dart had to reschedule 3 times without giving notice until minutes before if at all. Allowed head hunter to remain in the interview. Head hunter company also had other candidates in the chute for the role, so this seemed very odd to me. I imagine notes were taken and then given to the next candidates as I was the first. After a week or two of not hearing from anyone, a senior member of DART contacted me asking if I'd be interested in the same role (he was unaware I had been going through the interview process). We spoke candidly for about an hour and he explained how morale was low at the time and that with the acquisition by DART that many people at the site were unhappy, having seen their career-long colleagues let go, new org structure, etc. Role I had been interviewing for was replacing someone that had left after only 90 days. I would say I dodged a bullet.
