I was moving to a different city, so I drove to that city to go apply at the restaurant and take care of some other things. I drove home afterwards (6 hours away), and got a phone call the next day, Thursday. She told me to come back on Friday (very rude on the phone by the way), I mentioned I was from 6 hours away and asked if that was the only date. She said yes, I really didn't have a choice if I wanted an interview.
I was there 10 minutes early for my interview, they were doing a lot of them that day, so I sat in the waiting area for 45 minutes. I had my interview with the General Manager. He was very nice in it and very respectful (which I found out was kind of an act later), but the interview went well. I took a test, he asked me some questions about certain situations, told me he really liked me and would like to offer me a job. The only thing is that he told me most of his employees make about $600-700 a week. After working there for a whole year, 5-6 days a week, I never made more than $300 a week. One weekend I made $400 and that was after working two double shifts, and being a shift lead both of them. The only way possible to make as much as he said is if you are the closer, the only closer, and do it every night of the week. So that was a huge, big, fat lie.
