I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at DaVita (New York, NY) in Jul 2014
Interview
Applied Online. Recruiter called me for a 1 on 1 interview. She wanted to know why dialysis, why davita, what experience did I have, and what I used to do. She was very nice. After we spoke, she said she will set up an interview with their facility administrator (your boss for that clinic).
The FA asked pretty much the same questions. Why dialysis. Why davita. Tell me a story about a stressful situation.
After the interview, the recruiter told me the FA was interested. I got a hire date of about 2-3 weeks from that point. Before the hire date, I was invited to shadow an RN for 2-3 hours. I had to complete a background check and get all documentation prepared.
All in all, from the recruiters call to the interview with the FA, it took about 7-10 days.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DaVita (Las Vegas, NV) in Nov 2022
Interview
I met with a phone recruiter (screener) first, who took some time to find out a little more about me and my values and experiences. They also went over what they are looking for (job description) and also talked about aspects of the job such as hours and days. I passed the phone screening and went on to have an interview with the Facility Manager at Davita for the facility I applied to two days later. The overall process was quick and went smoothly.

Interview
I have been and ICU RN for 8 years. I am tired of short staffing. The interview process was casual and friendly, offered me the opportunity to shadow within the clinic. This helped me feel if the other members of the care team were friendly and professional
