Initially was emailed from one Recruiter, scheduled my interview using their online portal, received email confirmation and never received a call. Rescheduling (with a different Recruiter) was difficult apparently as I was told "it can be tricky to work across different time zones." Really? As a Recruiter working across the nation? Okay.
12 weeks from beginning to end; 5 phone/webcam/remote interviews, with 5 different people. It was weeks between each interaction. I was told I was a finalist and that the decision would be made and I'd be followed up with "next week."
One week went by, I emailed the Hiring Manager. No response.
Another week went by, I emailed the Hiring Manager. No response.
I finally emailed the Recruiter to share my experience with her, indicating I no longer believe DaVita to be a good fit. Almost another week goes by until I get a response that there must have been a miss on their end and "overall candidate experience is something they are diligently working through."
Immediately after receiving this email I received an automated decline letter.
As an experienced Recruiting professional this was extremely disappointing and NOT how any candidate should be treated, particularly after investing so much time and energy into the process. At the very least there should have been a personal verbal decline.
