Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What type challenges you faced in project execution.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at DTE Energy (Detroit, MI) in Jan 2025
Interview
The recruiter was great. However, prior to the interview, I received multiple emails with documents stating that the interview would be in the STAR format. There was quite literally a "Do and don't" document regarding how to answer questions. Upon entering the interview, I could immediately tell that one of the interviewers was agitated by my presence. I was asked one question, which I answered in the STAR format only to be cut off and told " this isn't that kind of interview" and that "this is just for us to get to know you". They proceeded to not ask any questions, I asked several questions and then the interview ended. After that, there was no communication for a few weeks until I reached out to ask for an update and was informed that they were moving on to more qualified candidates (I met every qualification in the description). To recap, I was told I had a STAR interview, I show up, interviewers ask 1 question, interview over.
