My recent interview experience with DNX has left me profoundly disheartened. The glaring disparity in preparation time provided to me compared to other candidates was shocking. Despite investing extensive hours into meticulously crafting my demo within a meagre four-day timeframe (including my weekend), I later learned that other applicants were afforded nearly two weeks to prepare.
While I understand that only some roles are a perfect fit, the lack of consideration for the effort and dedication I poured into multiple interviews, preparation for a rigorous 60-minute demo, and enduring a two-week waiting period is unacceptable. Instead of a respectful and constructive phone call, as one might expect after such a process, I received a generic, impersonal email that should have acknowledged or appreciated the value of my time and commitment. This disregard for professionalism and basic courtesy is deeply disappointing.
It is abundantly clear that transparency and respect for candidates' efforts could be more robust within the interview process at DNX. This experience has left an indelible mark, and I hope that necessary changes are implemented to ensure a more equitable and respectful experience for future candidates.
I will also note that I have never given a bad review.
