I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at DISH (Thornton, CO) in Mar 2013
Interview
DISH's interview process is very thorough. I first applied by email. I received a series of aptitude and personality assessments to complete. These took about 45 minutes to complete. A few weeks later I was then invited to move forward and visit the work site where I took more aptitude tests and some sample training and phone calls. I was then interviewed by two members of the HR team. I was given a tour of the facilities and informed that someone would contact me if I were to be hired. A few weeks later I received a phone call during which I was extended an offer which I accepted. The entire process was very clear, concise and reassuring. I felt respected, and valued as an applicant thru the entire process

Question 1
Did I ever find myself in a position where I wasn’t comfortable and overcame
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DISH in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview was done online and lasted about 30 minutes. The recruiter was gracious, professional, and very easy to talk to. She had a lot of information to discuss, which is good as she was thorough in making sure I, as a candidate, knew what I was getting into. So, communication and honesty were emphasized, which helped me in making my decision. Most of the interview was reviewing DISH culture and policies and ensuring I understood them. She then asked approximately 3 situational questions and a few relatively personal questions to get to know more about my personality. They weren't difficult questions, but should be answered in STAR format. I believe one of them was about learning a new skill and applying it in the context of customer service. This interview was one of the better ones that I have experienced in my life, so I don't really have anything negative or critical to say.
