I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DFW Consultants (Quincy, MA) in Nov 2013
Interview
A complete scam job and waste of time. They will lie to your face by all means necessary. This is a STRAIGHT COMMISSION SALES JOB and a PYRAMID SCHEME.
They advertise this job as "marketing" or some sort of "account executive" position and will act as such until you shadow. The first interview is quick and easy- anything to get you in the door and make you feel like you have already put in your time, so why not give it a shot?
The shadow day is where they reveal themselves as a complete pyramid scheme and door-to-door sales position. You will be forced to carpool with a group of people you've just met & be dropped off with the person you're shadowing somewhere in MA, while you follow them for a full six hours. See what I mean by loss aversion here?
You will follow them around while they peddle Verizon FiOs to their "leads" and make 0 sales, all while spouting buzzwords like "unlimited income potential" and "growth opportunities." Don't fall for it. Trust me, this is a scam and pyramid scheme.
This is NOT a marketing or finance job. Don't be fooled. It's only sales. Door-to-door at that. Don't fall for it, they are truly desperate.
Also a word of warning- in order to force you on board, they may even claim to pay you a base in addition to commission for the first two weeks. Just don't even bother. I have heard this a lie. I may be wrong, but in the long term you are not going to make any money from this job.
I won't be surprised if this company changes names soon after all of the bad reviews. These Verizon FiOs companies are everywhere and always re-branding to cover their tracks. Buyer beware of "too good to be true" so-called "marketing" and "financial" companies that can only interview between 11 and 12 when their office is full for "atmosphere." You've been warned. Just stay away.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DFW Consultants (Quincy, MA) in Sept 2015
Interview
very short and simple. The interviewers were nice people. The questions asked were just questions to know if you are willing to work and do what you have to do.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at DFW Consultants (Quincy, MA) in Jun 2015
Interview
This is a 3-round interview. They have their CEO talk to candidates in the first round. In the first round, candidates will talk about themselves and the CEO will have a brief introduction about DFW. He finally asked candidates to choose from salary, advancement, and promotion, and explain why. Then, if candidates get into second round, they will have a chance to work with other account executives for a whole day and then they will enter the final round. In the final round, the CEO again, will receive report from the colleagues they've been working with on that day. He will ask questions about your working condition, and whether you like the job or some similar questions.
