Very odd process all done via web meeting (pre covid). Final part of the process was with CEO who was travelling at the time and obviously a little distracted. Didn't seem to mind my questions although his answers didn't nesecarily bare scrutiny.

I have applied on their website. It took a week to get an answer. I have been contacted directly by the CTO. After a preliminary interview via skype, i have been invited in their facility outside of Milano, where i have been interviewed by 2 programmers in residence. The interview included coding and testing examples.

I have been presented two different scenarios and I had to discuss the possible approach to the solution. I Have also been asked to give my personal opinion over a two programming language comparison.

I have applied via Linkedin, just few days later i have been contacted by a deal flow manager with preliminary questions on my resume', plus my expectations in terms of growth and salary. I have also been told that Company's HQ is a bit far from Milano (where i live). The manager confirmed me that support to relocation would be available. Process was in three phases: Skype, onsite 1, onsite 2. Offer came directly from the CEO right after onsite 2.

I have been asked over 40 questions on Php, JQuery and Python. Level was intermediate/Advanced.
then i have been asked to solve a practical problem in 1 hour time.
Finally, i have been asked to peer review over 1000 lines of code in Python
