I was interviewed in a large room with two colleagues of the institution. The position was open to people that already worked at the institution before going external. You had to fill an application before hand stating the qualifications and experience you have for the role. You were then contacted with an interview.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Cygnet (London, England) in May 2025
Interview
Straightforward, lasted 1 hour. Asked 11 questions. There were 3 people on the panel. Friendly environment. They also asked some HR related-diversity questions in the end. It was a face-to-face interview.

Interview
I was interviewed by two psychologists (they split the question schedule between themselves). They were sensitive to my performance anxiety and made an effort to put me at ease. They also helped me to do my best by asking prompting questions. At the end, I was given the opportunity to revisit questions with a view to adding more substance. The interview style was formal. They asked approximately eight questions. I sat the interview over a year ago so cannot remember all of them but will share the ones I do!
