Leadership was hung up on certain attributes that didn't seem appropriate for the position. They did not seem to fully know what they wanted from the role beyond someone to lead a Lean implementation. By the end of the last interview, I knew it wasn't for me as they really seemed to want an engineer. They ended up changing the position title to a plant manager but from what it seemed, whoever gets that role will get plenty of assistance in trying to turn the performance around.
