I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Cummins (Huddersfield, England) in Apr 2015
Interview
At the beginning they asked you about the history of the company through out the yeas as they take pride on it. later on they focused on more technical details for the position you're applying to and finally some questions about what you expect about the job.
It was a good experience, and I enjoyed travelling to their factory. They reimbursed the travel and hotel stay costs. The safety standards are good at the manufacturing facility, and it was a very multinational environment.
1) Contacted by recruiter, 2) 30-minute phone screen, 3) Interview with Hiring Manager, 4) On-site panel interview.
Overall terrible experience: I was scheduled for an onsite interview with the hiring manager but then it changed to a virtual meeting with less than a 24hr notice. The Job description did not match the actual responsibilities of the position. The Manager talked like he was a know-it-all, did not ask if I had any questions, and abruptly ended the interview saying he has another meeting. Red flags of a toxic manager.
