Crystal Bridges Museum interview questions

The entire process dragged on and then they ghosted me. After an initial screening interview with the Hiring Manager, I was moved to a second interview with the Interim Marketing Director. After a few questions about my experience and the data migration projects I worked on, she said, “Don’t take this the wrong way but do you have any other experience managing a website besides the one?”I had to remind her that I had in fact worked on several. After this answer, she started talking about the upcoming holiday, her vacation, and how much she needed a break. This was before Christmas 2024. My application is still pending with no follow up (not even a rejection email).

The initial interview was a half-hour screening with an HR representative (who is under the umbrella of Art + Wellness enterprises). Every interaction I had with HR (through Jason Hudson) was extremely professional, warm, helpful, and informative. The second interview was a half-hour screening with the department's specific hiring manager, the third a one-hour interview with members of the department team, the fourth was a written interview to keep the process on track when members of the team were sick, and finally I flew to have an in-person interview, which was a one-hour slide presentation and Q&A (a format specific to the needs of the team and the hiring manager).
