Interview
Standard interview questions; education, experience, and ability to work with others. They are most interested in people who have a successful track record in the positions they are filling. They have both very experienced and sort of experienced employees, but this was back when the company was doing well and had a sense of direction and was a notable company in the industry. It’s currently a former shell of itself.

Interview
After completing a lengthy questionnaire and design document, I made it to the interview round. The interview was 2 hours long over the phone with three very experienced industry professionals (around 15 years of experience each). They went over my design choices from the document, but the majority of the interview consisted of them asking me to design game mechanics on the spot. They would provide a scenario or give limitations, and then ask me to create something that was *ideally* original, balanced, and most importantly, fun. It was pretty nerve-wracking to have to answer so many challenging questions while being critiqued by several incredibly experienced industry professionals, but I really appreciated the format of the interview, and I liked everyone who interviewed me.

Interview
A 1 hour long call with the full design team of a new project.
Tackled my design test thoroughly and put me on the spot a few times.
Some of them laughed at my jokes while others were more serious.
