I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Crypto.com (Hong Kong) in May 2025
Interview
First interviewed by HR, and next the team manager. There are more rounds if able to proceed. As explained by the HR, should have 5 rounds in total. The interview conducted using Cantonese, english and mandarin.
First round was with HR which was arranged quickly. However, the subsequent round with hiring manager was unpleasant - HM showed up unprepared and unaware of my background. Upon looking through my resume during the interview itself, HM's questions became irrelevant to the job scope and it seemed like he was looking out for additional requirements which I wasn't informed of. His tone was somewhat condescending and I got a feeling that he hated his job or was burnt out. Probably dodged a bullet since the company went quiet on me after, but the interview was a total waste of my time.
