Live zoom session to solve some problems. The issue is like most Asian/Chinese culture companies, the interviewer asks questions they know the answer to. It is their specific journey rather than something more standard and universally agreed to. It's like asking a Italian Chef if he knows how to cook African food rather than how he generally creates recipes. So the questions were not difficult as much as very specific to their journey. Unfortunately, many of us often times have different journeys. This is quite different from western interviews which are more open ended and tests about how you approach a problem.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Crypto.com (Singapore) in Mar 2025
Interview
Mostly asking the past working experience, understand the candidate background, get to know the candidate as well as introducing their working requirement, it's the round to mostly see if the candidate is good fit or not, not really technical, but they could pass candidate for non technical reasons, maybe due to the market is bad, they tend to find candidate exactly matches.
