I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at CrossCountry Consulting (McLean, VA) in Oct 2020
Interview
Initial phone interview with the Talent Acquisition Manager followed by a 30 minute zoom interview with an Associate Director, and later, three 30 minute zoom interviews back to back with a Senior Consultant, Associate Director, and Partner. Each of the three final interviews had a different focus: consulting aptitude, technical skills, and core value assessment. All individuals were inviting and easy to speak to. Prompt feedback and information on next steps were given after each interview. CrossCountry was in constant communication throughout the entire process making it as smooth of an experience as possible.
I interviewed at CrossCountry Consulting (New York, NY)
Interview
Very disorganized and confusing process without clarity or sense. A lot of apologies and no pitch ups. Some interviewers did not even know what they were interviewing me for. A joke to be honest, i was asked the same question on 4 interviews. Stay away, I sensed instability and uncertainty here.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CrossCountry Consulting in Sept 2025
Interview
1) Initial 30 minute screening with recruiter 2) 45 minute interview with someone from the practice 3) Excel case study (pretty easy) + interview with the proctor who will guide you through it 4) 2 technical interviews with people from practice.
Overall, everyone I spoke with seemed very fake and their demeanor spoke to the off-putting culture I noticed during interviews. I would avoid.
