Interview process is easy. However, the recruiter is way too unprofessional. I have been interviewing with Criteo for the last month and a half. First call was with the hiring manager, second was an excel based case study where they let you to choose the tool as per your convenience. Then, the recruiter tells me the feedback was nice from the hiring manager and ghosts me for 3 weeks. I reached out to the recruiter for an update regarding the next steps, he says I am no longer considered for the position as the team thinks now I have not used python in the case study. Then after many requests the recruiter schedule's another call with the hiring manager and tells me to go through the entire process again., The recruiter didn't gave me an update after the interview, I had to reach out to him again and then he tells me we will be considering you for an entry level position based on your experience. FYI: I am a Master's graduate with a Degree in IT and Analytics from the US with5+ years of work experience. Overall, the recruiter is way too unprofessional and would not recommend any of my fellow data professionals to go through the same. It is really disheartening as I had prepared alot for the interviews.

Recruiter started by saying the Senior Analyst role was filled internally so they would be interviewing me for the Analyst role. The first question was "what is your target compensation" as the compensation was lower for this role than for what was listed in the JD. I said something 15% higher than the new range, and the recruiter tried ending the call there. I said my range was negotiable so we had a conversation about the team structure and my experience after that.
A month later, the same recruiter sent another meeting invite. It looked like the same setup as the first interview, so I sent an email asking to confirm if this was a second round interview, or if another first round was sent to me by mistake. Didn't get any reply and it ended up being another first round.
The recruiter rejected me on call b/c my dialect of SQL wasn't what Criteo used. Their team uses MySQL, so make sure you say you have MySQL experience.
