      Manager-In-Training Interview

      21 Aug 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Bloomington, IN
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Crew Carwash (Bloomington, IN) in Aug 2021

      Interview

The first interview is scheduled as a Phone Interview. This was done utilizing a texting system. The second interview was an in-person that was negotiated for ease of travel for both interviewer and interviewee, A discussion was then held with the region-of-interest Manager where further steps would be determined.

      Question 1

A lot of questions on past leadership experience and why the company would be a good fit for you.

      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Crew Carwash (New York, NY)

      Interview

The hiring process is a little tedious but relaxed in the same sense. You start with a phone interview, then a face-to-face lunch interview, then you do a panel interview with 3 higher up managers. I was very nervous for the last one because I hadn't done a panel interview before but they really just wanted to try to get to know you. The lunch interview was more of "name a time...name a time.."

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

      Why Crew Car Wash?

      Question 2

      Manager In Training Interview

      25 May 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Crew Carwash

      Interview

First interview was a phone interview it went well. Second interview was with a company recruiter. This also went very well. Conversation flowed with open and specific questions over lunch. Final interview was with an operations manager and area manager. This part of the interview was awkward due to repetitive loaded questions. Nothing like the previous interviews. To top it all off they didn't even have the balls to call me like they said they would to let me know if I got the job or not. Needless to say I took another offer while waiting but the lack of professionalism doesn't surprise me.
