I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Creative Planning
Interview
Interview went well. Post interview communication was a little disorganized. They reached back out later to check in on why I didn’t want to move forward though. I explained it was a messy process.

Question 1
What am I looking for in this job, why creative planning?
Phone interview with their Talent Acquisition Team. Spent most of the time selling the company and the trips they take you on. She seemed very nice and very positive about the company. Phone interview with the hiring manager. Fairly standard interview. Very nice people. The next step was flying out to Kansas for an in person interview - the company covered all costs, but it still seemed like a lot in this day and age. While there, interviewed with three people and took a test.

Question 1
Why are you looking to leave your current role. What do you like best about your role
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Creative Planning (Overland Park, KS) in Nov 2018
Interview
Initial phone interviews with their HR rep, then met with their local Wealth Manager and another phone call with their Director of Financial Planning. Then the company offered to fly me to Kansas City for in-person interviews with their COO and CEO. Very efficient process.

Question 1
Fairly typical (where do you see yourself in 5 years) as well as a couple of technical questions thrown in by the COO (who was very unimpressive in my opinion). Also asked "Why Creative"
