I went through several rounds of interviews for a remote corp comms role only to be told the hiring manager was having second thoughts on moving forward with the role as remote. Keep in mind, the hiring manager also works remotely. I offered to make bimonthly visits to no avail. I was asked if I would be open to moving to accommodate a hybrid schedule and when I declined, we parted ways. Waste of time and energy.
