The interview process includes typical retail experience questions, scenario-based questions and answers. It is dependent on the warehouse, but it typically involves the candidate and the department manager. Overall, fairly simple process
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Billings, MT) in Jun 2016
Interview
They took me to an office with two managers and asked basic behavioral questions. After the initial interview, I talked to the AGM to give him my information, and I started two weeks later. They seemed to really appreciate that I was dressed up in business casual clothing. They are very busy in the summer, and the timing of my application most likely helped me get the job.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2024
Interview
Easy. Straightforward. Just like any other company. Asked a few questions about your job history and how you work with others. Then told me I should hear back in a couple days.
I interviewed at Costco Wholesale (Santa Clarita, CA)
Interview
It was relatively easy. Just asked basic questions about experience. Most of the harder questions came from questions asking about customer service. Just remember they aren't customers, but members. They offer little training, so once you start you kind of are thrown in there, and it gets super busy. A little intimidting.
