Cosmose interview questions

I applied online and had an initial round with HR. The HR representative explained the role and provided detailed information about the company, which seemed promising. She mentioned that the next step would be a take-home assignment, followed by an interview with the hiring manager. I completed and submitted the assignment on time and received an acknowledgement that the hiring manager would review it, and they would get back to me. However, after waiting for over a week with no update, I followed up with HR but received no response. I was effectively ghosted, which is both unprofessional and disappointing. This experience reflects poorly on the company's culture and their apparent lack of respect for candidates' time and effort. A simple update, even if it’s a rejection, would have gone a long way in maintaining professionalism.

The interview process was quick with only 3 rounds that happened rather fast. The questions and interviewers were easy going. However, the whole experience went south after my last call with the HR who told me she will get back with answer in 2 business days after sharing my salary expectations. I waited for a month with couple of follows but I did not even receive an acknowledgement. I can understand that offering a role takes time and the company may be interviewing other candidates but the company pretty much ghosted me till I reached out to the hiring manager and asked for feedback. This is when I finally received an official response from the HR that the role is on hold. I found that this was a tad bit unprofessional and hope that the company takes in this feedback.
