Interview
Two phone interview and one in-person interview. Before the face to face interview they ask you for three references and their contact info. They will email your references and ask them to complete some form that takes a rather long time to complete before the interview. I never heard one thing after my face to face. Not a phone call. Not an email. Not a form letter in the mail. I understand that’s how some companies operate and I can deal with that. What is completely unprofessional is to force you to make your references waste their time completing some questionnaire before they have even made a hiring decision AND then to not even have the courtesy to send some sort of rejection notice. I’m willing to go through the hoops of interviews, but to make my references to that is ridiculous waste of their time. They should not do that until they are sure they want to extend an offer.
