I interviewed for an MLOps Engineer position, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The recruiter read questions directly from a script and seemed more focused on recording my answers than engaging in meaningful dialogue. This impersonal approach made the conversation feel mechanical and one-sided, as if my responses were simply being logged for the hiring manager without any genuine interest.
The questions were so generic, repeated without any attempt to assess my unique skills or cultural alignment with the company. This lack of thought and personal engagement left me feeling undervalued as a candidate and questioning the effort put into the hiring process.
