I applied in-person. I interviewed at Continental Currency Services (Norwalk, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Went into the Kenneth Plaza branch and applied. Gave one of the tellers my completed application. She then proceeded to fax it to HR. I recieved a call 2 days later for an interview. Once I got to the interview we did a personality test, then a cashier(s) test (which included basic math). Once we finished the basic math skills test they called us in 1 by 1 to for an interview. Once you complete your interview they tell you the process will take another 5-7 days (they called me the next day) to find out if they want to move forward and offer you the job. If you're offered the job and you accept then they do your background check and schedule you for a drug test.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Continental Currency Services (Hollywood, CA) in Nov 2018
Interview
Applied online- got a phone call- went to their shady Hollywood location for a math/personality assessment and an interview.
I was clearly overdressed as the staff/managers and the other interviewees were fairly raggedy.
The math test is solving basic calculations, sum-totals/percentages/etc. They provide you with a 99cent calculator, as you cannot use your phone.
The personality assessment is basically you sorting statements from "best" to "worst," "murdering for love" "being well fed," on their ms-dos computer. Nothing major.
Basically things other companies allow you to do online.
Yes, if you haven't figured it out by now, this place is ghetto. Very very ghetto.
No AC and a putrid aroma. Very gross clientele.
