The interview process itself was not stressful or difficult, but their expectations border on ludicrous. First they wanted tax documents to verify previous employment, which is not always easy to obtain, and then they rescinded their offer of employment to me because when I listed previous employment dates, I listed my total time at the place of business and did not specify that my initial months there were through a temp agency. As a result, there was a discrepancy in dates on my background check, and despite my ability to provide written documentation of exact dates, they refused to move forward with the hire. It's one thing to deny employment to people who blatantly lie, it's yet another to deny employment to people who can physically verify everything they list on an application. This borders on discrimination and as a result. I could not recommend this company to anyone, and may even take this to the next level. The CEO needs to know they are turning away perfectly capable and earnest applicants.
