I am living in Virginia so they were gonna do 3 rounds. First was the phone screen with the former investment banker and we decided it was mutually a good fit for me. The second was a technical interview with a financial analyst and I correctly answered every SQL question that he asked me (he even said that I got a 5/5) and he also said that they would be arranging another interview. However, I waited a week and got no response. So I called the financial analyst and he said they will call me when they get the time in their schedules? A week later still no response. So I emailed HR and she said that she left me a voicemail (which isn't true) on the day that I was interviewed and told me they wouldn't be proceeding with my candidacy. Then I called back the financial analyst and he told me that I wasn't a "cultural fit"? Whatever that means....... (I don't get it, I was polite,friendly and answered every question correctly) anyhow he should've told me ahead of time.
