I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Con Edison (Brooklyn, NY) in Mar 2013
Interview
Very structured interview. Must give the answers that they are looking for. They ask a number of yes or no questions in the beginning. Then followed by scenario questions, what would you do if presented with a certain situation. Overall it was mostly common sense.

Question 1
If you saw a spill in the bathroom what would you do?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Con Edison (New York, NY)
Interview
The interview was long and in-depth but covered things that seemed like appropriate gauges for the role's expectations. Be prepared to show your best face and customer friendliness. Make it clear that you can separate business from personal.
Interview Process was pretty easy and straight to the point. Questions asked were pretty much scenario based questions. The interview was with two people each asking you one scenario at a time. Wasn’t difficult. Just think before responding and you shall be good.

The interview process was pretty lengthy. During the interview, the majority of the questions were scenario related. The other portions were about prior experience with customer service. Certain questions were harder than others, but an overall good experience.
