I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Comscore (Portland, OR) in Feb 2021
Interview
Amazingly smooth process overall. Phone screen with the recruiter, followed by a 30 min call with the director of engineering. If that goes well you take an online assessment and then to the final round if you pass that. The process is very streamlined and the people are very kind and easy to talk to. I didn't get an offer but would absolutely love going through their process again if another opportunity comes up.
We really appreciate you taking the time to review your interview experience for the Sr. Software Engineer opening. We're thrilled you had a positive experience working with our recruiting and hiring teams. We would love for you to revisit opportunities with us in the future.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Comscore (Portland, OR) in May 2018
Interview
First you chat with the supervisor and if you pass that, you are then given a coding challenge with two questions. Pass that and then you are asked to do a three hour interview with three teams of two. The in-person certainly wasn't difficult, technically speaking. A couple of the engineers seemed adversarial, which as an interview style I don't think is particularly effective, but some companies seem to advocate that. Having over 20 years of experience I just found it petty.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
A movie theatre sells the three concession stand items listed below:

Implement a web application for the movie theatre that allows a user to add the above items to a shopping cart and calculates the total for the given collection of items. For example, the following basket should total up to $23.
· 3x Popcorn
· 5x Snickers
· 1x Soda

We’re look for some code that simply takes a string as an argument and returns a list of words found in the string that contain at least one ‘a’ character. During the interview we will discuss the solution together.
For example, for input:

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Comscore (Reston, VA) in Jan 2013
Interview
I applied through their careers section and one of the recruiting team sent an email to me asking details of my career, experience, passion and references to open source projects & stack overflow profile page. I sent the required details and got a call from recruiter for initial screening. It was followed by a phone interview with a Director and then I attended 3 rounds of face to face at their Reston office.
Recruiters were very friendly and the entire process completed in a week. Just hours after the interview when I was returning back to my home, I got a call from the recruiter and he detailed about the offer, salary. Not much of negotiations though, they provided the salary what I was looking. A very pleasant interview process.
Most of the interview questions were very basic and simple to answer. If you have 3 - 4 years of experience in product development, especially with BIG DATA, it is very easy to clear interview.
