I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Compass (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2020
Interview
Be careful, lots of promises - sounds great. Do your due diligence. Read the fine print. Sometimes if an offer sounds to good to be true it may be. The agents in LA left for a reason.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How many deals have you done in the last 12 months?
The interview was very simple. You are interviewing them to see if it's the best place for you to hang your license. They give you a tour of the office & explain what they have to offer you.
It was mostly a conversation that assessed for people skills and relevant experience for the position. Prepare to give some detail on past real estate experience and what you’ve accomplished.
2 or 3 zoom calls with hiring manager who was lovely. very easy interview process, just be yourself, they want to see your personality. If you are referred in and meet the sales metrics on your previous history then its almost a guarantee in.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
General questions about your experience selling real estate, objections and how you overcome them. Where you see yourself going with real estate. I would suggest finding something specific you like about compass and honing in on that in the interview. Sell your excitement!
