The process took about 4 weeks to complete once the application was submitted.
1. Phone Interview-Interviewed with COO and Chief Program Officer. Pleasant conversation with both members of leadership. Asked questions about my resume and what is important to me in my work.
2. Video Interview-Amid the pandemic was scheduled for a video interview with additional team members including Director of Rural Programs and AmeriCorps Program Coordinator. COO was present for this interview as well, however, allowed the Director and Coordinator to facilitate interview. This assisted in getting to know more about the program and how this role would be an addition to the team. Truly connected with the Director of Rural Programs over compliance and employee relations.
3. Video Interview w/ Leadership-Interviewed with CEO, Associate Director of AmeriCorps Programs, and COO. COO allowed for CEO and Associate Director to lead the interview. Asked questions regarding my knowledge in Human Resources and how this skillset will assist employees.
4. Reference Check-Provided at least 3 references that can verbalize your work ethic/habits, personality, and leadership
5. Offer-Received phone call offer and letter offer within the week of the final interview.
Really loved the organization and how they are creating change in Colorado. Truly appreciated the COO being present at every interview as this position reports directly to that role. Declined due to the limited guarantee of employment (Temporary Grant-Funded role) and estimated salary.
Overall, the culture at CRC is inclusive, innovative, and transparent. If the role was not temporary, many other qualified HR Professionals, myself included, would be honored to work with such a bright, high-performing team.
