It was pleasant. There wasn't any particular question that was challenging, appeared very informal, and appeared more like a personality test from both the HR and in-person interview with the hiring manager. They appeared to have a great deal of pride being employee-owned and being small as that came up in both interviews.
HR went silent after the in-person interview so it became clear shortly afterwards they had someone else in mind or wasn't overly impressed. I did follow-up with HR to get a status but was given the cookie-cutter "interviewing other candidates" answer and a kinder verse of a "don't call us, we'll call you." email with no formal decline communication after several weeks.
However, to be clear, they didn't let me leaving any interview like it was a bad experience and seem like a good company.
