      Full-Time Sales Interview

      26 May 2015
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Sarasota, FL
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Comcast (Sarasota, FL) in May 2015

      Interview

"BAIT & SWITCH" from FULL-TIME to PART-TIME is common practice for Comcast & shows the closed-minded executive greedy nonsense that runs rampant at Comcast. The whole interview was joke consisting of "scripted" low-level questions that would identify inexperienced applicants for Comcast to take advantage of without answering any real, non-scripted questions. The interviewer asked if it was "Ok" with me to fill out another version of the online application to switch me to a Part-time position from the Full-Time one I had already filled out. Then, they would send me an additional personality assessment to fill out for that second application. This is an outrageous example of Comcast's corporate nonsense designed to get people who they can pay as little as possible to. They application I initially filled out was for Full-Time Sales at $62K but the "Bait & Switch" Part-Time position Comcast is actually willing to hire for was Part-Time Only at an hourly rate plus a small commission which would not of been close to $62K/year. It's time people knew what Comcast is really doing to us in the workforce.

      Question 1

The initial first two phone interviews were totally "Bait & Switch"! The inexperienced scripted phone interviewer could not/would not answer my questions regarding them telling me to fill out a second online application for the Part-Time only position that Comcast/Manpower switched my Full-Time application to asking me if that was "Ok" with me without telling me anything else.
