I applied online. I interviewed at Cohere Health (Boston, MA) in Feb 2021
Interview
I was given an online coding assessment, then spoke with the technical recruiter, then with the CTO. The process was fine until I reached the CTO. He seems like an angry individual and was fairly rude. He tried to dodge a question that I asked him about "flexible work hours" and said he was looking forward to remote work ending.

Question 1
How do you split your data into testing and training?
Coding exercise, case study, executive interview, personality assessment, and culture fit. It was a very long process and the recruiter kept ghosting or stringing me along for weeks at a time, which was a major red flag.

Question 1
How would you design a system to parse medical documents and gain insight from it?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Cohere Health
Interview
Initial phone screening, coding screening, problem based technical interview, then a conversation with senior management.
Coding portion isn't too hard, but you will have to have an okay conceptual grasp on traditional ML models and more modern NN approaches.
Technical interview was problem based. They introduced a problem, you have to provide a high level solution. They asked some model design questions, stuff about data validation, performance monitoring, etc.

Question 1
How would you improve this model implementation? (i.e. to improve scalability, model performance, supporting different/more complex inputs)
Asked to attempt assessment with 3 coding questions . The assessment was medium difficulty but can attempt if we have good knowledge on NLP, ML.waiting for next process of interview
