I was excited to have a chance to work at CognitiveScale, but after my experience interviewing with them, I am happy to move on. The entire process from application to the last interview was over two months. Every part of the process was slow and the communication was horrid. The phone interview was easy and more of a conversation from the hiring manager. 2 weeks later I finally hear back they wanted to move forward with face to face interviews. I met with 4 people across the org, and informed they would have a decision at the end of the week. The company went dark and I didn't hear anything until they asked for another follow-on interview over a week later. The best part was when they scheduled the final round but didn't tell me about it. I don't know operationally who's at fault but my take is this company has a lot of growing to do. The treatment of candidates shows lack of empathy and professionalism. I hope they treat their employees better than they treat the people who think they want to work there.
