It was a nice interview. I was convinced that I gave the correct answers during the interview, but was then told that others scored higher. I accepted the feedback, and was told they'd make time to call me to discuss this in detail. I called to arrange this, and the manager said at the time, 'yeah others scored higher than you' which I assumed anyway, So they then realised it was a little like stating the obvious, So told me they'd call me the week after when they have had a chance to look over the notes, and we arranged a call, and again they repeated the same thing, and lasted all of four minutes, most of which was made up of additional small talk. They said 'they'd save going through each question' but that was what I was hoping for, but I could tell they clearly just wanted to end the call and just wanted to get off the phone as quickly as possible. They advised me to listen to the questions in future, and get to the point with my answers, but they couldn't even do the same for me, as they didn't listen carefully to my request for feedback very well either. Absolutely pointless, Some constructive criticism I expected, not just plain, 'oh well it didn't work out'. Really disappointed. This has just convinced now that the feedback was made up and perhaps they just didn't think my face fitted. It was way too generalised, and I was blamed mostly as I heard them struggle to actually say something constructive. I regret even attempting to get some feedback from them, They just didn't seem to have any good reasons. There was hardly anything apart from what I knew already.
