      Application

      I interviewed at CodeSignal

      Interview

Applied Saturday. Got an automated assessment request at 2am. No human had seen my application. The job listing mentioned none of this. Their email says they want to "remove bias" and focus on skills over resumes, yet they still asked for a resume up front. Then immediately ignored it. And long before anyone had decided I was worth a conversation, they wanted me to read FAQs, review documentation, practice their platform, and complete a skills assessment. According to other Glassdoor reviewers, the assessment ends with a passport photo upload. Hiring is supposed to be mutual. You're evaluating them too. This process gives you no opportunity to do that. They just demand your labor upfront, before they've given you any reason to trust them with it. Know this before you invest time applying.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked me to take a surprise lengthly automated screening before a human reviews my candidacy.
