First phase was meeting with office manager and sales director, and time was spent primarily discussing the company culture and my own background, nothing technical in nature.
Second phase was a technical assessment. Met with lead developer and a project owner, and was given a set of tasks ranging from fairly simple to slightly complex. First question was a familiar code problem using if..then..else logic to produce the right output under the correct input. Second had to do with CSS animations using keyframes. Given a series of questions to assess how well-versed I was in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript as well as some tools like Git. Didn't get too deep in the weeds and the thing to remember is they are testing you for enthusiasm and honesty over technical skill. Be honest and say you don't know if you don't know the answer to a question, but try to make and educated guess if you can.
Third phase was a meeting with the business owner, to discuss the particulars of the role and culture, find out if I was a good fit.
